Ingredients
- 12 oz fresh cranberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 tsp orange zest
- 1 tbsp orange juice
- Pinch of cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Combine water and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
- Add cranberries, orange zest, and cinnamon.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.
- Cook 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until most berries have burst.
- Stir in orange juice and salt.
- Remove from heat — sauce will thicken as it cools.
- Serve warm or chilled. Keeps refrigerated up to 2 weeks.
